Balakrishnan Kavikkal (Bala) is the Managing Director and CEO of Servion Global Solutions. He founded Servion along with four other partners in 1995 to provide strategic consulting, systems integration and professional services for the Contact Center industry. Today, the company is a global leader in the customer interaction management space across several industries. Bala brings with him 26 years of experience in Telecom and IT. Prior to his current position, Bala was the President of Servion’s operations in North America. He was instrumental in enabling the sales and delivery infrastructure in the US which led to aggressive sales growth even as the country’s economy underwent a downturn in 2011. Bala’s ability to build global sales networks has helped set up operations and work with partners across Asia Pacific, Europe, and US. He has been the driving force in leading Servion’s sales and marketing efforts worldwide across IVR, CTI and Call Center domains, making available best-of-class solutions. He has been passionate about trend and issues relating to customer service / experience, playing a key role in founding the Custommerce Service Excellence Foundation. He continues to be an integral part of its board. He has also been associated with the conceptualization and design of numerous global Contact Centers. Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Bala spent the first 10 years of his professional life working in senior product management / sales positions in TVS Electronics and Max India. Bala holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from NIT, Surathkal (India).
