Santosh Nair, the CEO of Camson Biotechnologies Ltd., entered the agriculture industry after being associated with the banking and finance industry for over 19 years. During this long stint he has worked with reputed organizations like Merrill Lynch and HDFC Bank. At Merrill Lynch he was part of Global Wealth Management group and managed India onshore business for the group. He spent more than a decade with HDFC Bank and responsible for Retail Banking business starting off with the western region and then moving on to head Southern India.
After re-locating to Bangalore, Mr.Santosh Nair’s interaction with agri-companies got him excited about the prospects of agriculture. The last couple of years were spent in analysing Indian agri business and interacting with agri-experts. He identified technology as a key factor and decided to partner with Camson where he is responsible for bringing the thrust on the domestic as well as new international business initiatives which will spread Camson presence in the global arena.
Mr. Santosh Nair graduated from the Mumbai University in 1991 with a specialization in Chemistry. He chose Finance as his mainstream while obtaining his masters degree in management from the reputed NMIMS, Mumbai and has an executive degree from IIM-A.
